Everything you need to know about the five tabs, picks, Gravity, locks, challenges, streaks, the Orbit, and Fanbases.
The Fan Orbit has five tabs — Picks, News, Live, Board, Feed. They sit across the bottom on mobile and across the top on desktop. Each opens a focused view; no menus to dig through.
On desktop, the Treemap is always visible as the background. Activating a tab slides the corresponding panel in from the left without leaving the live view. Clicking the active tab again collapses the panel back to full Treemap.
Tap your avatar pill in the top-right corner to enter your Orbit — a full-page 3D destination centered on a low-poly planet you can walk across as your own character. Four sections live in a pill stack in the bottom-right corner of the planet view:
From the Orbit you can also walk into your Space Station and watch your planet's stage tick up as your Gravity grows. The sky shifts with your local time of day across the whole experience.
Tap the caret next to your avatar and select My Profile, or tap any username anywhere in the app. Your profile shows your identity card with pick record, badges, receipts preview, and team allegiances. Anyone can visit your profile or your Orbit directly via your username link.
The Fan Orbit is your sports home base. Open it up and you'll find the latest news across every sport: NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college, Premier League, MLS, and more. Follow your favorite teams to personalize what you see first.
Live scores update throughout the day. Odds are pulled in real time so you can see the lines before you make your picks. Everything lives in one place.
Pick the winner of any game. No spreads, no point totals. Just pick who wins. Every correct pick earns you Gravity, the currency that powers everything on The Fan Orbit.
Every day, 3 featured games appear as Today's Slate. The same 3 games for every user, so streaks, records, and bragging rights are directly comparable. Pick all 3 to keep your streak alive. Get all 3 right for a +2G perfect-slate bonus.
Every pick starts at Lock 1 (standard). Feeling confident? Upgrade your lock level before the game starts.
| Lock Level | If Correct | If Wrong | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| 🔒 Lock 1 | +1G | No penalty | Unlimited |
| 🔒🔒 Lock 2 | +2G | -1G | Unlimited |
| 🔒🔒🔒 Lock 3 | +3G (+4G Pro/HOF) | -2G | 1 per day |
Lock 3 is your Lock of the Day. Use it wisely. You can change your lock level up or down anytime before the game starts.
Pick the underdog and you earn +1 bonus Gravity if they pull off the upset. This stacks with your lock level, so a Lock 3 underdog upset pays +4G (or +5G for Pro/HOF).
Chain 2 to 5 picks together into a parlay. All legs must hit for the payout. Multipliers grow with leg count, and underdog legs add their own bonus on top.
Your first 5 correct picks each pay a +2G bonus on top of the standard payout. New fans don't have to grind from zero — the curve gets you on the board fast.
One sports question. One non-sports question. 5th-grade level. 15 seconds per question, a fresh pair every week. A persistent quiz card sits at the top of your Picks tab the whole time the window is open. Right answers pay 10G and feed your Smartest ranking on the Board.
Gravity is the currency that powers The Fan Orbit. You earn it by being right. It can't be bought with real money and can't be cashed out. The competition is real because all Gravity must be earned.

Customize is the storefront for everything you can buy with Gravity — data rings for your planet, clouds, jerseys, constellation phrases, placeable builds (home base, flag, basketball court, moon), and biome unlocks (250G each for any locked-tier biome you want before upgrading). New SKUs ship into the catalog as we build them.
Two consumables sit alongside the cosmetics:
Gravity also rides on every challenge wager you accept.
Your streak tracks consecutive days completing the Daily Slate. Pick all 3 games every day to keep it alive. Miss a day and it resets to zero — unless you're holding a Streak Shield, which auto-consumes to cover the gap.
Challenge any user to a head-to-head picking competition. Both players pick the same set of games. Whoever gets more correct wins.
Put Gravity on the line. Both players put up the same amount and the winner takes it all. Choose a preset (Friendly at 10, Competitive at 25, High Stakes at 50) or set any custom amount up to your balance.
Create a group challenge and invite up to 8 friends. Everyone picks the same games and the pot splits among the top finishers. Hosting a group challenge requires the Hall of Fame tier, but anyone can join one.
Your Orbit is a full-page 3D destination centered on a low-poly planet you can walk across as your own character. Drag to look. WASD on desktop or a virtual joystick on mobile to move. The first time you sign in, you pick your character: gender silhouette, skin tone, hair color. That's the avatar people see when they visit your planet, and the one you walk on theirs.
Your planet is built from your record. Every correct pick adds a peak. Every challenge loss leaves a crater. Stat moons orbit alongside the planet — record, Gravity earned, daily streak, win streak, challenges. Behind everything, a constellation message you wrote can float in the stars.
Planets evolve through 10 stages tied to lifetime Gravity: Pebble, Flood, Shore, Awakening, Terrestrial, Living World, Aurora, Polar, Legend, and Apex. Each stage is a clear visual leap — bare rock at one end, polar auroras and companion moonlets at the other. A ceremony fires when you cross a threshold.
Open Customize and you'll find Sculpt Mode in the action menu. Tap your planet to drop a circular brush, then drag the size and height sliders to shape it into a continent, a peninsula, or a sunken basin. Trees, rocks, and the buildings you've placed all track the surface you carve — drop a basketball court onto a brush-raised plateau and it rides up with the land; sink a region back into the sea and the trees there go with it.
Free fans get 3 brushes to layer onto the procedural baseline. Pro fans get 8. Hall of Fame fans get 16, plus Blank Canvas mode (wipes the procedural baseline so the planet is yours to draw from scratch — 30 brushes to work with) and a reroll button that gives the procedural pass a fresh seed. Editing is desktop-only; mobile fans see the result of any sculpting you've done, they just can't sculpt themselves.
Every planet picks one of ten biomes: Forest Coast, Snowscape, Desert, Highlands, Volcanic, Savanna, Tropical, Prairie, Arctic, and Mesa. Each ships with its own palette, its own flora, its own surface fluid, and its own sky.
Free fans pick from three: Forest Coast, Snowscape, Desert. Pro adds Highlands and Volcanic. Hall of Fame unlocks all ten. Want a locked biome before upgrading? Buy any single biome for 250G in Customize — the biome is yours forever.
Your primary team sets your default biome (Lakers fans default to Highlands; Heat fans to Tropical) and you can override to any biome you've unlocked.
The orbit sky shifts with your local time. Morning, afternoon, golden hour, dusk, deep night — colors and lighting all move in real time, and the same shift carries through the rest of the site.
Customize opens a full-screen storefront. Browse by category, see what you own, see what's locked, see what's coming soon. Buy with Gravity, then walk over to where you want it on your planet and place it. The terrain reshapes around what you put down — a basketball court flattens its patch of ground, a flag perches on a small rise, a home base settles into the slope.
Lose a challenge and your planet takes a visible scar — a crater on the surface where the loss landed. The crater fades after 7 days. Crater Shield (40G in Customize) absorbs the next mark before it lands.
A walkable interior off your planet. Same controls — WASD on desktop, joystick on mobile. Decorate the walls with art frames, banners, and a sport-court rug. Embed a YouTube video and a Spotify or Apple Music player. Look out the front window and your real planet floats there in real time, mirror to whatever you've sculpted and customized. Visit any other user's station via their profile.
Earn badges across 6 categories: prediction milestones, streak achievements, challenge accomplishments, community engagement, special events, and tier status. Badges display on your profile, share cards, and the Hall of Fame section of The Board.
Pin your best winning picks as receipts. This is your curated trophy case, displayed on your profile. Each receipt uses a receipt-stub design with monospace scores and a "CALLED IT" stamp. Share them as images. Pinned receipts also appear as glowing markers on your planet surface.
The feed shows live activity across The Fan Orbit: picks, results, lock-level calls, upsets, challenge outcomes, and parlay hits. React to events with fire 🔥, eyes 👀, skull 💀, crown 👑, or clown 🤡.
Three feed views: Everyone shows all activity, Following shows people you follow, and My Teams shows activity from fans who share your favorite teams.
Game Rooms show live consensus, scores, and pick status for games in progress.
Challenge someone 3 times and they become your rival. The Rivals view (toggle at the top of the Board tab) shows all your rivalries with full stats: challenge record, aggregate pick record, accuracy comparison, and total Gravity exchanged. Hit the rematch button to keep the rivalry going.
Open the app in the morning and get a quick summary of how you did. You'll see your record, each pick's result, and your current streak. Shows once per day and auto-dismisses after a few seconds. You can also save winning picks as receipts directly from the recap.
The Board is the leaderboard. Four pills across the top switch the ranking lens:
A dropdown next to the pills scopes the timeframe — this week, this month, all-time. A separate Rivals toggle opens your head-to-head record against everyone you've challenged.
Fanbase standings live on their own page at /standings, where every team's collective accuracy ranks against every other across daily, weekly, monthly, season, and all-time cuts. Something is always moving.
A Fanbase is the collective of all Fan Orbit users who share a team allegiance — the Lakers Fanbase, the Eagles Fanbase, the Yankees Fanbase. Your picks don't just affect your personal rank; they count toward every Fanbase you're part of, against every other team's fanbase on the platform.
Pick your primary team per sport during onboarding (one per league, with a one-week cooldown to change). The moment you join, you're mid-competition.
Free fans pick one favorite team. Pro and Hall of Fame fans pick as many as they want — and every pick they make counts for every fanbase they follow at once. One Lock 3 win can move three different team standings simultaneously.
The Fan Orbit offers three tiers. Paid tiers are one-time purchases. No subscriptions. No renewals. No surprise charges.
